If you have land that is under a contractual feasibility phase, or you own land that you want to build on, we are willing to scope out the site and discuss the possibilities and potential restrictions for the site based on its location. We can give you a general analysis based on our experience with everything from zoning in environmentally sensitive areas to home placement in relation to neighbors and space limitations.
We will help you take all details into consideration so that you can make a realistic assessment of the site’s feasibility
In this phase, we will determine and arrange all the details of your custom home build including land improvements, a comprehensive analysis of your plans and engineering, a complete design of your specifications and finishes, competitive bids from our trade partners, and a true and complete cost to build. As your partner in this project, we will work with you if any adjustments are needed to ensure everything aligns with your wishes, desires, and budget.
We are a ‘Fixed Cost’ custom homebuilder so once we complete our collaborative planning phase, your price will not change.
Contract & Construction
Once details including architectural plans, engineering, specifications, finishes, and fixed cost to build have been agreed upon, we will have you sign a construction contract hiring High Country Homes as your builder.
Our next step is to gather the necessary information and documents to begin the permitting process. We will communicate directly with your chosen lender to make sure they have all the necessary information to secure the loan. Then, we will assign selected trade partners and create a schedule. Upon receiving the approved permit, site improvements and construction can begin.
Your dream home is just months away!
Once we have completed your new home, you will be awarded with the certificate of occupancy. We will walk through your home with you one last time to make certain that you are pleased, and that we have met your expectations.
We will then hand you the keys to your new home!
