Cory grew up in the home building business and much like his dad he had a love for construction from the very beginning. He was only five years old when High Country Homes was formed and even at that young age he was watching, learning, and helping wherever he could. He started with the company by organizing tools, sweeping the homes under construction, and keeping the jobsite safe and clean.
Cory obtained his associates in arts and business degrees in college and then pursued a firefighting career before he came to realize his true passion was still in the homebuilding business.
Joining the family business full-time was a natural transition for Cory and a blessing to High Country Homes and has helped us grow in the direction we have always envisioned.
Cory’s construction knowledge, skillset, efficiency, and ability to forecast and calculate all that is necessary from the beginning phases of construction together with his passion for the industry has made him a superior project manager. His calm nature and organizational skills are critical when working hand in hand with our team of subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to produce an exceptional home and experience for our clients and homebuyers.
